Sam joined the Nicol team in 2020. He oversees the financial reporting on all Nicol properties, including lender reporting requirements and compiling and analyzing Nicol financials on a macro level. He is also responsible for managing the relationships with our financial institutions and overseeing all acquisition and disposition activities. Prior to Nicol, he worked as the Chief Investment Officer for a capital partnership firm where he sourced debt and equity for 75 developments, largely retail build to suits but also office and self-storage. A commercial real estate banker by background, he worked for 20-years with Wells Fargo’s Commercial Real Estate Division as a lender and manager for the midsouth region. Sam received a BS in Finance from Auburn University and has an MBA from The University of Alabama, Birmingham. Nashville has been home for Sam and his family since 2012.
